I love trying non-franchise coffee even though I'm often disappointed, this is no exception. A latte shouldn't be bitter, a beer perhaps but not a latte.

The coffee is great and the owner is a lovely person.

Great coffee in the middle of nowhere. Muffins were exceptionally good. Baristas were very friendly.

Called in on my way back to LAX for my flight back to England on October 30th 2017. Great breakfast and coffee. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. She was going into hospital soon after for an operation. I have wondered several times how she is now. Doing well i hope. Take care.

Small businesses in acton deal with a lot of rich snobs. These businesses deserve more than a 5 🌟. But in all honesty their coffee is better than starbucks.

The new owner was very helpful and pleasant. Will be visiting soon. Food and drinks were great.

Great place to spend some time. Comfortable seats, chairs, couch, etc. The latte I had was tasty, fresh and hot. Also had a yummy apple fritter. Prices are reasonable. Wifi: yes. Restrooms: yes. I recommend this place. Go for it.

This is a great local coffee shop with friendly service and a tasty Irish creme latte. Perkin' Up is a perfect place to catch up with friends over a cuppa Joe.

Friendly staff, pretty good specialty coffee (maybe a little sweet), nice variety of snacks and sandwiches. A popular hang out for moms after dropping off the kids at school.

Love this little hometown coffee shop. It has been under new ownership and let me tell ya, the food and coffee rocks!! Amazing salad, veggie wrap, and freshly made scones. Tastefully decorated, sweet staff, and cozy atmosphere!

A 50¢ credit card charge on a cheap cup of coffee leaves me unthrilled. But it's a good atmosphere, clean and the best wifi I've gotten in Acton

First visit great coffee, great ambience, service with a smile, and the Turkey breakfast on a croissant was pretty tasty. Only problem I see is it tucked away, and not very visible to traffic. Other then that 5 stars.

I love the iced tea mocha. After karate with the kids, always get one for me and a milk for the little ones.

Visit once. Coffee is super great. Will go back and see if I can update my rating.

Love this place this is my sister and I new breakfast spot no more McDonald's wish we would of known about this place long time ago yummy bagels and cream cheese and our morning coffee love it because they have different kinds of sugar free syrups for our coffee I am diabetic it's hard for me to find sugar-free syrup for my coffee anywhere else so I'm glad my sister found this place Thank You PERKIN' UP COFFEE HOUSE.

It's nice in the age of Starbucks to find a small town small business like this. Super friendly staff. I only had regular coffee, and my coffee was fine. However, my friend ordered a croissant, and complained that it didn't seem fresh. We both would still recommend this spot, as she has gone there on multiple occasions and always had a positive experience.

Loved this place! A hidden gem for amazing coffee and breakfast bites. We tried their bagel sandwich, rose latte and mocha. Everything was just perfect from the food to the staff, ambience and vibes. Definitely going to be coming back again.

Awesome shop, good food, good coffee. The barista was more than happy to answer any questions and give us any information she could. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and will be back as soon as we are in the area again.
